NY Alternatives to Incarceration/Reentry Coalition Presents A Blueprint for Criminal Justice Reform

At a spirited rally on the steps of City Hall on Wednesday, advocates for criminal justice reform gathered with the ATI Reentry Coalition and elected officials calling for additional funding for ATI--Alternatives to Incarceration Programs.
NYC Council Member Vanessa Gibson says "ATI gives young people a chance... We need to make sure we create jobs and not jails!"

The Coalition presented a Blueprint For Criminal Justice Reform which shows that alternatives to incarceration and reentry programs work and members chanted " More Education Less Incarceration!" You can read the report here and listen to our news item by clicking the arrow above.
